On Sunday I am going to begin one last circuit around the state I have called home since 1973. 6 days or so, maybe 1800 miles, on the ST1300. Alone, as usual. Funny, I have been here all that time and it just occurred to me that I do not have any friends in any of the many places I am about to go. I guess we all like it here on the front range.
I have an absolute love affair with most of the miles of those roads. They have been the source of an enormous amount of joy over the years. I will most certainly enjoy this last ride. And it would not surprise me if I shed a few tears.
